In 2020, riders have an opportunity to race for a spot in the both the UCI Gran Fondo World Championships and the USACycling Gran Fondo National Championships. Our event is the CLOSEST QUALIFIER to the UCI World Championships in Vancouver, BC & the first time the World Championships have been held in N. America.
The State of Utah and Cache Valley to once again be a focus for world-class cycling.
The UCI Gran Fondo World Series, the UCI's masters and amateur mass participation series, will comprise 25 qualifying events worldwide in 2019-2020, leading up to the 2020 UCI Gran Fondo World Championships, which will take place in Vancouver, BC (Canada) in September 2020.
The qualifying season will feature the Utah/Cache Granfondo in Logan, Utah (USA), on a beautiful 100 mile (160.9km) course which will lead riders through the Cache Valley towards Idaho to finish back in Logan.

Always the 2nd Saturday in July, the Cache Gran Fondo provides a mostly-flat course, (except for a hill challenge in each), through one of northern Utah's best-kept cycling secrets, Cache Valley, Utah. Many riders register for their first century, the challenge of a 50-miler, a new 34 and 70 mile route, or as a Century+ training ride for bigger events like Ultimate Challenge and LOTOJA.
