But we found away to keep a ride option open for our 1000+ riders.
Unfortunately, due to the worldwide Covid-19 pandemic, the UCI World Championships in Vancouver BC were cancelled in mid-June. Likewise, for similar concerns and restrictions, we had to eliminate a mass-start race as a qualifier. However on July 10-11we implemented a significantly modified event plan, working with local and state agencies, and hosted a fun-ride recreational, limited rider starts, 2-day event that spread our riders out in small rider groups of 40-or-less. Spectators and volunteer numbers were kept to a minimum, and all support items were provided in prepackaged form (bottles, cans, wrapped items). All adjustments complied with the rules and guidelines, and our riders and volunteers had a fantastic 2-days riding in beautiful Cache Valley, Utah. Thanks to our riders for your trust, our sponsors for sticking with the plan, our local government officials for their direction, and our hard-working volunteers for serving the riders who were able to attend.
USACycling and Bikereg.com both confirmed we were the largest cycling event in North America!
